Overview of the current fundamentals of rare earths

Language: English

Date: September 28, 2023, 2:50 p.m.- 4:00 p.m. (Beijing Time)

Venue: Microsoft Teams

Rare earths pose an intricate situation, wherein even industry experts from both the East and the West struggle to provide clear and comprehensive explanations to their audiences. Moreover, rare earth elements have taken on a significant political charge, partly due to various misconceptions and misinterpretations surrounding them.

Referred to as technology metals, rare earths encompass a group of 17 metals, each with their own unique applications and markets, distinct supply and demand dynamics. These markets have evolved over time, and the ongoing global push for carbon neutrality has thrust some rare earths into the forefront. The purpose of this webinar is to present an overview of the current fundamentals of rare earths, catering to a wide audience.
